Vegan Sunflower Seed Dip Recipe

A nutritious alternative dip for nachos or veggies. This Vegan recipe is high in Vitamin E which will make your body, mind and skin feel great. Vegan Sunflower Seed Dip Recipe

Ingredients

    For the Dip
  • 200g sunflower seeds (soaked)
  • 118ml water
  • 5 sundried tomatoes
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 30ml tahini
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt & pepper
  • For the Topping:
  • 2 spring onions (chopped)
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts

Directions

  1. Wash and soak the sunflower seeds for at least 2 hours.
  2. Blitz all the dip ingredients together in a high powered blender or food processor until well combined and smooth.
  3. For the topping, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  4. Pour the dip into a serving dish, and spoon the topping over the dip.

    Dear Bettina, this looks amazing. But in Brazil dried tomatoes ate so expensiv ! Would you have an alternative idea for this? many thanks

      Hi Daniela, you don’t need to use the sundried tomatoes at all, for a nice topping you can slow cook onions with sweet paprkia, salt & pepper and olive oil, you can also add chopped olives! Enjoy and let me know how you get on. Lots of love, Bettina x
