VERY BERRY SMOOTHIE
TIP - Always keep frozen bananas in the freezer. You know when they get brown and spotty? That is when they are the sweetest. Peel them and freeze them in batches. Great to use for ice-cream or smoothies like this one.
2 cup (250 ml) of coconut water or nut milk
1/2 cup of mixed berries (you know the frozen ones you buy or fresh up to you)
1/2 tsp of coconut oil
2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup (30 grams) almonds (preferably pre-soaked)
Tiny pinch of salt (Himalayan)
Choose your toppings go as bold or as plain as you like and serve
Blend in a vita mix or for longer in a blender until smooth. If you don't want it so thick add more liquids.
