Spanish Persimmon Carpaccio & Spiced Crumble
Ingredients Makes 4 portions.
2-3 @spanishpersimon (thinly sliced)
For the crumble
2 @spanishpersimon peeled and small dice
2 tbs of brown sugar
1 tsp of cardamom
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of clove
100 grams of oats
3 tbs of coconut oil or butter
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare your crumble ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Place the crumble on greaseproof paper and spread out evenly and roast in the oven for 15 minutes and give it a good stir and make sure it doesn't burn.
If you would like the crumbling a bit crispier then keep cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes. In the meantime slice your @spanishpersimon thinly and arrange on a lovely plate.
Once the crumble is done sprinkle it on top of the carpaccio and add some edible flowers for extra festiveness. Enjoy as it is or with a generous dollop of ice cream! SO so good!
